Saqr Aljazeera Aviation Museum reopen

Khalid Alwadani Director of Saqr Aljazeera Museum, The museum now open, our top priority is the health and safety of our visitors and our entire museum family. Therefore, we’ve carefully developed reopening guidelines following the recommendations of the , local health.

In order to achieve the highest public health standards, cleaning procedures have been enhanced throughout the museum, including an increased frequency in the disinfecting of high-traffic areas and surfaces. Hand sanitizer stations are now available in each gallery and new directional signage is also in place, Air Force Museum Theatre, and simulator rides.

The Museum of the Saudi Arabia Air Force collects Many ancient planes,And technologically advanced showrooms and simulations,researches, conserves, interprets and presentst the Air Force’s history, heritage and traditions, in Air, Space and Cyberspace to a national audience through engaging exhibits, educational outreach, special programs, and the stewardship of the national historic collection.
In effort to keep pace with the continuous development, the museum has brought the latest devices to provide visitors with pleasure, luxury and excitement that suits all age groups:

Theater Aviation Simulator that holds 28 passenger.
F-15 Simulator
Typhoon Simulator
Boeing-737 Simulator
The museum has specified a gift shop to sell gifts and small stereographs that are related to the Air Forces from aircrafts, symbols, etc. it also displays some military fatigues for kids, cups, medals, pens that hold the museum’s symbol and pictures of some aircrafts.
The museum has provided a group of excellent specialist guides to answer all questions and to explain to students and delegates.
The museum distributes brochures that talk about the history of the Air Forces and some booklets through which the visitor gets to see the map of the museum and its most important sections.
Award outstanding excellent students and motivate them to be more successful in their schools.
The museum has provided a café for the visitors and places to sit and relax.
The museum gives students and researchers the chance to get information needed for their researches through search screens that are located inside the museum.

Working Hours:

Saqr Aljazeera Aviation Museum opens all week, morning and night, except Tuesday, where it closes for maintenance.

Morning working hours:

From (8-12) noon, specified for school and university students and some formal delegates.

Night working hours:

From (4-8) evening, where it receives families all week except for Tuesday, where it closes for maintenance.

Ticket Prices: divided into two categories:

(5) SR Category: for school and university students and those whom are under 10 years old.
(10) SR Category: for general visitors, the museum has allowed free entrance for the special needs people.

Top Activities and Participations:
The museum participates in the centennial celebrations, National Day, The Two Eids (Eid Al Fiter and Eid Al Adha) celebrations and some aviation festivals. Saqr Aljazeera Aviation Museum is also eligible to participate in external exhibits, festivals and activities.
